In my article on Why are we so Sick, Feeble and Frail? I explains the reason for mankind’s decline in health and why we should be taking vitamin supplements.
The big question is……. are your pets any different?
Sadly the answer is no.
Just like us, our fury friends need proper nutrition to grow and stay healthy, but just as with us the processed pet foods, so attractively wrapped in brightly coloured eye catching packaging, do not have what it takes to keep them healthy.
Happily all is not lost. There are various supplements for cats and dogs on the market that can add a few more years of healthy living to your pet’s life.
Growing scientific evidence supports the premise that animals in the wild have clear knowledge of the natural medications of nature. Studies show that animals use plants and herbs to treat a variety of ailments. So, if herbal medicines are an effective treatment for wild animals, why not our domesticated friends?
Different herbs perform different functions within the body. Some herbs detox the liver, some control the immune system while others provide energy etc etc.
Domesticated cats and dogs are wholly dependent on humans for their food consumption. The processed foods we feed them are totally devoid of the essential natural plants, roots and seeds they are dependent on for their health. The result – the onset of ailments like kidney failure, cancer, Arthritis, Diabetes, distemper, premature death, joint pains, heart, liver and urinary tract diseases, to name but a few.
Despite the much vaunted assertions by manufacturers that their food provides all the daily nutritional requirements necessary for your pet’s health, the overall health of domestic pets, especially as they get older, reflects differently.
After numerous requests from their Feelgood Health customers, Feelgood Pets was launched in 1999 with a wide range of herbal & homeopathic remedies, aimed mainly at the furry members of the family – dogs, cats & horses.
There herbal medicines and vitamin supplements are formulated according the highest holistic health standards, are never tested on animals and are side-effect free.
Let’s face it, they’re not just furry friends, they’re family and need all the love and attention you can give them.
’till next time, but until then please leave us a comment.
